Ranjha (Banke), June 20 (RSS): A
coronavirus infected woman has given birth after a caesarean section in
Kohalpur Teaching Hospital in Banke district.
The 27-year-old woman from
Krishnanagar in Kapilvastu district was referred from Bhim Hospital,
Bhairahawa, and gave birth to a baby girl after caesarean section, according to
the hospital’s official Dr Nitesh Kanodiya.
The health condition of new-mom and
the baby is normal, it is said.
Dr Kabita Singha, Dr Rabin Shrestha,
Dr Rajesh KC, Dr Amrendra Kushawa, Sangita Giri, Sarswati Shrestha and Pabitra
Bista were involved for the caesarean section of the woman.
The Ministry of Health and
Population has designated this hospital as the third-layer of coronavirus
hospital. Currently, three coronavirus infected people are receiving treatment
at the hospital, Kanodiya shared.
